Individual Driver History Records

Welcome to New Mexico’s Online Driver History Records Service

Records provided through this online service only contain the driving record history for the past 3 years. These records are copies of the official State of New Mexico driver record as provided by the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division.

This service supports the following browsers: Chrome, Edge, Safari

What you need to obtain your driver history record:

1. A credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) to pay the driving record fee.
2. Your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your social security number.
3. Your driver's license number: This 9-digit number can be found at the top of your license.
4. A valid email: a receipt will be emailed as confirmation that you paid for a driver history record.

Retrieving Your Record

You can download and/or print your record immediately after purchasing it. If you are not able to do so, you may choose “Retrieve a Previously Purchased Record” on the right-hand side of the page to retrieve your record for up to 30 days after purchasing it. Be advised that although the record can be retrieved, it will contain the original date purchased.

Non-Certified Driver Record

Non-Certified Driver Record: This version is not certified and may not be accepted by your employer, insurance agency or other parties that require a certified copy. The non-certified record is available for $6.63.

Certified Driver Record

Certified Driver Record: A certified copy of your driver record is accompanied by a letter of certification from the New Mexico MVD. The certified record is available for $9.99.
